Human Resources

Human Resources (HR) has become a key factor in enhancing organisational performance and driving strategic change for businesses. HR systems, processes and capabilities contribute significantly towards achieving the mission, vision, strategy and goals of a business.

HR is a key element of the business excellence process within the Tata group. Over the past few years, the need to create a more robust HR assessment, and look at the overall improvement of HR process and systems has been underscored by the feedback received from group companies and the Tata Business Excellence Model (TBEM) assessment teams.

Tata Business Excellence Group (TBExG), in collaboration with Tata Group HR, has identified four levers to achieve this objective:

- Capability Building

- Robust Assessment and Feedback

- HR Deep Dives

- Best Practice Sharing

Collaboration, involvement of senior management, research and data analysis, and focus on stakeholder needs is the overarching philosophy behind the initiative.
